Summary
The seasoned and unscrupulous basketball agent Vojislav Todorović is struggling to balance his life between his family, his business and his mistress. Things get even messier when he gets an offer from a controversial businessman to take over the basketball club for which he used to play and with which he won the Championship of the SFRY, in order to destroy it and then take a part of the money from the commercial and residential complex which is to be built in place of the club. Far away from Belgrade and Vojislav, at the other end of the Belgrade-Zagreb highway, his former best friend and teammate, now coach, Krešimir Ivanović, loses his job due to alcoholism and depression, and both his private and professional life are falling apart.
The series “Žigosani u reketu” tells the story of Voja and Krešo, once inseparable friends and members of the famous team that is now on the edge of ruin and that will bring the two of them back together in an attempt to help it rise from the ashes. The story is built around the hope for a second chance both in sporting achievements, and in life.
