N1 documentary wins investigative journalism award

The Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia (NUNS) awarded an N1 journalist’s documentary about allegations of false diplomas among politicians.
The NUNS awarded Adam Santovac the Dejan Anastasijevic 2020 investigative journalism award in the electronic media category for the documentary Mega Graduate (Mega Diplomac).
NIN weekly journalist Vuk Cvijic won the award in the print media category for a series of articles about the Krusik affair and BIRN news desk members Jelena Veljkovic and Aleksandar Djordjevic for articles about the father of the Internal Affairs Minister.
The Juzne Vesti and Masina portal were given special plaques.
The NUNS award is supported by the US Embassy and is usually awarded on World Press Freedom day, May 3 but was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
